Project Brief

The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) recognizes the value of higher learning and specialized training by assisting Alaska’s students and their families with access to education and career training. The organization also provides debt solutions by offering loan refinancing options.

ACPE tasked Wostmann with program implementation support for its new outsourced Student Loan Origination and Servicing solution. This multi-billion-dollar project required our team members to fill senior project manager and business analyst roles while coordinating the activities of 50 personnel and seven project workstreams.

Our team oversaw communications between vendors and ACPE project members; provided progress reports to executive leadership; coordinated task and scheduling updates; facilitated meetings, reviews, and kickoff events; maintained risk logs; and developed realistic timelines and resource designation to meet goals. Phase two of our work included analysis and oversight of data migration.
